Muslim Extremists?

When will the media, even the conservative media, start reporting that the people plotting terrorist acts are NOT just a weird fringe Muslim extremist element who are poor and disenfranchised. They are not single males with no social ties or abilities. We are consistently lead to believe that the people carrying out or attempting to carry terrorist acts are some sort of fringe element, mostly certifiably crazy. This is hiding the TRUTH.
Truth is that the people engaged in the most recent attempt in Britain were VERY normal.
College students in BioChemistry?? One of which was a leader in a local Islamic group?
One had a child?  25 people found and twenty some more not arrained yet?
How does this translate to fringe extremists??
By the way, where are the "non-fringe", "non-extremist" Muslims who are denouncing these acts and the acts of Hezbollah?
Where are the "peace loving" Muslims who are making public statements against these terrorists? With the substantial population in Detroit and Great Britain, I'd think we should be seeing something coming from there. Where is it?
The majority of Muslims are committed to their religion. Period. We, the rest of the peace loving world, had better begin understanding what exactly the tenets of their religion are.
I think they would surprise you.

Hezbollah Victory

I cannot imagine anyone thinking that Israel signing a cease-fire is anything but a victory for a group which should be relegated to nothing more than a street gang. Hezbollah is victorious in what has transpired in the middle east if for no other reason than they are now considered to be a legitimate force to be reckoned with and more importantly, will now further entrench themselves in Lebanon. Reality is that the people of Lebanon and their government have no real issue with that either, and it is high time the rest of the sleepy world wake up and realize it.
The country of Lebanon is NOT being held hostage as a State within a State.
Hezbollah is Lebanon.
By the way, this will also make dealing with Iran more difficult.
If we, the world, do not have the intestinal fortitude to deal with Iran as needed, what we are witnessing is the beginning of the end.
